Welcome to OpenThrottle. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how Woodside Interactive, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
To provide our Ride Tracking, Clubs and Community features, we collect the following:
Account Data: When you sign up via Firebase, we collect your email address and name.
Profile Data: Information you provide about your bike, including model, type, year, and mileage.
Precise Location Data: To track and show your ride, we collect your device's GPS location. We update this every 5 seconds while the map is open.
Device Information: We may collect technical data such as your IP address, device model, and operating system.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the data collected to:
Create and manage your user and club profiles.
Facilitate real-time map features so you can track rides and find nearby clubs.
Authenticate your login sessions via Firebase.
Communicate with you regarding app updates or support.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. However, your data is shared in the following ways:
Public Visibility: Your public profile (name, bike info) and your rides are visible to other users if you allow it.
Third-Party Service Providers: We use Google Firebase for authentication and data storage. Their use of your data is governed by theGoogle Privacy Policy.
4. Your Choices & Controls
You have control over how your information is shared:
Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location services at any time through your mobile device settings. Note that the tracking and club finding features will not function without this permission.
Profile Visibility: You can edit or delete your profile details within the app at any time.
Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at piratecatsoftware@gmail.com.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our services are not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Child Safety Policy OpenThrottle has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children is strictly prohibited. This includes grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or sharing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Violations will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or applicable law enforcement authorities. Users can report concerns using the in-app reporting feature.
